Olectra Greentech Limited has officially announced the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for its new Greenfield Electric Vehicle (EV) Manufacturing Facility located in Seetharampur, Hyderabad, Telangana. The company has declared December 31, 2025, as the COD for Phase-I operations. This initial phase of the facility is designed with an annual production capacity of 2,500 electric buses per shift. This capacity represents 50% of the total planned per shift annual capacity, which is projected to reach 5,000 buses per annum. The company has duly communicated this declaration to its lender, State Bank of India. This development marks a significant step in Olectra Greentech's expansion and commitment to the EV manufacturing sector.
