Ola Electric Mobility Limited announced the scaled-up deliveries of its S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) electric scooter, powered by its indigenously manufactured 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack. Deliveries have commenced in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Telangana, alongside a continued ramp-up in Karnataka, with specific deliveries starting in Coimbatore, Kochi, and Hyderabad. This marks a significant milestone as Ola Electric becomes India's first company to fully own both the cell and battery pack manufacturing process in-house, contributing to a fully integrated EV ecosystem in India. The S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) features a 13 kW motor, accelerates from 0-40 kmph in 2.1 seconds, and offers an impressive IDC range of 320km. It includes four riding modes and enhanced safety features like dual ABS and disc brakes. The company also detailed its expansive product portfolio, including various configurations of the S1 Gen 3 scooters and Roadster X motorcycles with their respective prices. Ola Electric aims to eventually take the 4680 Bharat Cell powered vehicles nationwide.
