Ola Electric Mobility Limited has announced a significant expansion of its 4680 Bharat Cell platform at the प्रारंभ 2026 event. The company will now offer its 4680 Bharat Cells and 1.5kWh battery packs for direct purchase by businesses and startups. This initiative aims to empower innovation across various sectors, including automotive, humanoids, drones, and portable medical equipment, by providing indigenous energy storage solutions.
Furthermore, Ola Electric has launched Ola शक्ति, India's first residential Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), which is fully designed, engineered, and manufactured domestically using its proprietary 4680 Bharat Cells. Deliveries for the 6kW/9.1kWh Ola शक्ति configuration will commence at the end of January 2026, with the 3kW/5.2kWh configuration starting in mid-February 2026.
The company has also commenced deliveries of its Roadster X+ motorcycle, equipped with a 9.1kWh 4680 Bharat Cell battery, offering a range of up to 500 km on a single charge. Deliveries of the S1 Pro+ 5.2kWh model, also powered by the 4680 Bharat Cell, have been scaled up across India.
The Ola शक्ति BESS is available in two configurations: 3kW/5.2kWh priced at ₹1,49,999 and 6kW/9.1kWh priced at ₹2,49,999. It is capable of powering essential appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, and farm pumps, with fast charging capabilities and backup capacity of up to 1.5 hours on full load.
The Roadster X+ 9.1kWh is priced at ₹1,89,999, featuring an 11kW motor and a 9.1kWh battery, achieving a top speed of 125 kmph and accelerating from 0-40 kmph in 2.7 seconds.
The S1 Pro+ 5.2kWh is priced at ₹1,90,338, equipped with a 13kW motor and a 5.2kWh battery, offering an IDC range of up to 320km, a top speed of 130 kmph, and accelerating from 0-40 kmph in 2.1 seconds. The company highlighted that the 4680 Bharat Cell is central to its integrated energy and mobility ecosystem, designed for India's evolving energy needs.
