NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has announced the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for the first part capacity of 50.4 MW of the Vanki Wind Energy Project. This project is located in Nakhatrana, Kutch, Gujarat, and is part of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a stepdown subsidiary. The COD is effective from 00:00 hrs on 8th July 2026. Following this declaration, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group has reached 90,954 MW, with a commercial capacity of 89,874 MW.
