NTPC Limited has amended its Code of Practices and Procedures for Fair Disclosure of Unpublished Price Sensitive Information (UPSI), with the changes effective from January 8, 2026. This amendment is in compliance with Regulation 8(2) of the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015.

The updated code outlines the company's practices for promptly disclosing UPSI that could impact price discovery, ensuring universal and uniform disclosure to prevent selective dissemination. It designates the Company Secretary/Head of (Finance-ISD) or an authorized individual as the Chief Investors Relation Officer (CIRO) responsible for managing information dissemination.

The company commits to prompt dissemination of any inadvertently disclosed UPSI and will provide fair responses to queries from regulatory authorities regarding market rumors. Information shared with analysts will not constitute UPSI, and transcripts or records of investor relations meetings will be posted on the official website. UPSI will be handled on a "need to know" basis, shared only for legitimate purposes, performance of duties, or discharge of legal obligations, with confidentiality agreements in place for external parties receiving such information.
