NLC India Limited announced a change in its board of directors. The Ministry of Coal, Government of India, has appointed Shri Anil Meshram, an IAS officer and Principal Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu's Energy Department, as a Part-time Official Director. This appointment is effective from June 3, 2026, and is until further orders. Shri Anil Meshram replaces Shri Mangat Ram Sharma, who was the Government Nominee Director. The company affirmed that Shri Anil Meshram is not debarred from holding the office of Director by any authority. Shri Anil Meshram is an IAS officer of the 2000 batch, Tamil Nadu Cadre. He is not related to any of the current Directors of NLC India Limited. This change in nomination by the appointing authority has been made in accordance with Regulation 30 and 51 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
