NIIT Learning Systems Limited (NLSL) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, NIIT (USA) Inc. ("NIIT USA"), has received board approval for an additional equity investment of up to USD 300,000 (approximately ₹2.49 crore) in its step-down subsidiary, NIIT Brazil LTDA ("NIIT Brazil"). This investment, to be made in cash as per requirement, aims to meet NIIT Brazil's funding needs for growth and working capital. The existing capital of NIIT Brazil is USD 200,000 (Brazilian Real 1,093,000). The proposed equity investments are subject to applicable regulatory and customary approvals. NIIT USA's board made this decision on January 23, 2026. The company stated that this investment is not expected to have a material impact on NLSL's consolidated financials. NIIT Brazil will continue to be a wholly owned subsidiary of NIIT USA and a step-down subsidiary of NLSL.
