NIIT Learning Systems Limited (NIIT MTS) has acquired 100% of SweetRush, Inc., a leader in AI-enabled custom learning experience design and strategic training interventions. The acquisition was completed through NIIT MTS’ wholly owned subsidiary, NIIT (USA), Inc., for an aggregate consideration of up to USD 26 million (₹215.6 crore), including annual performance-based earnouts over the next five years. This strategic move aims to add award-winning strategic learning interventions and expand NIIT MTS' near-shore delivery capability in the Americas.

SweetRush, headquartered in San Francisco, USA, was founded in 2001 and operates with over 100 team members and an extended pool of industry experts across the United States and Costa Rica. The union combines SweetRush’s custom, AI-enabled, human-centered learning experience design with NIIT MTS’ global managed learning scale. The acquisition supports NIIT MTS’ growth strategy by expanding its services portfolio and creating opportunities to convert project-based relationships into longer-duration, annuity-like managed learning engagements.

Danielle Hart, CEO of SweetRush, highlighted that joining NIIT provides a larger platform to serve clients globally while staying true to SweetRush's distinctive human-centered learning design.
