NIIT Learning Systems Limited (NIIT MTS) announced its wholly owned overseas subsidiary, NIIT (USA), Inc., has acquired 100% equity stake in Sweetrush, Inc. The acquisition, completed on January 9, 2026, is part of NIIT MTS' strategy to drive growth through capability building, geographic expansion, and market penetration.

SweetRush, founded in 2001 and headquartered in San Francisco, USA, is a leader in strategic training interventions and high-end custom learning solutions for Fortune 1000 enterprises. Its estimated consolidated turnover for the financial year ended December 31, 2025, was USD 22.4 million (₹186.5 crore). The aggregate purchase price for the acquisition is up to USD 26 million (₹216 crore), including an earnout amount payable over the next five years based on performance.

This transaction combines SweetRush's expertise in AI-enabled, human-centered learning experience design with NIIT's global managed learning scale. The acquisition is expected to expand NIIT MTS' services portfolio, including strategic learning interventions, certification solutions, and talent solutions, and create opportunities to convert project-based relationships into longer-duration managed learning engagements.
