Newgen Software Technologies Limited has announced the outcome of its postal ballot results, confirming the approval of Ms. Shubhi Nigam's appointment as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director. The resolution was passed by the company's members on January 10, 2026, with the requisite majority via e-voting.

The postal ballot notice was initially issued on November 26, 2025. The record date for determining the eligible members for voting was Friday, December 5, 2025, with a total of 1,66,894 members on that date.

The voting results indicate strong support for Ms. Nigam's appointment. In the voting on the ordinary resolution for her appointment, a total of 85,711,537 votes were polled. Out of these, 85,169,946 votes were cast in favor, representing 99.3681% of the polled votes, while 541,591 votes were against, representing 0.6319%. The appointment is effective from January 10, 2026.
