NELCO Limited announced its unaudited consolidated and standalone financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025. The Board of Directors approved these results at a meeting held on January 15, 2026, which commenced at 12:30 p.m. and concluded at 02:40 p.m.

On a consolidated basis, the company reported a net loss of ₹119 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, a wider loss compared to the preceding quarter's loss of ₹162 crore. Total income from operations for the quarter stood at ₹7,830 crore. For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, the consolidated net loss was ₹203 crore.

On a standalone basis, NELCO reported a net loss of ₹57 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, compared to a net profit of ₹271 crore in the preceding quarter. Income from operations for the standalone results was ₹4,966 crore for the quarter. The nine-month standalone net loss was ₹182 crore.

The results also highlighted an exceptional item of ₹381 crore in consolidated results and ₹238 crore in standalone results, primarily related to the assessment of the financial impact due to changes in labour regulations. The company has recognized the incremental impact as an exceptional item. Furthermore, a tax adjustment for earlier years under the "Vivad se Vishwas Scheme, 2024" was made, settling an income tax matter for Assessment Year 2011-12.
