National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has announced the appointment of Shri Anurag Rohatgi as an Additional Director (Government Nominee Director) on its Board. This appointment is effective from December 19, 2025, succeeding Shri Bharat Bhushan. The appointment was made in accordance with an order dated December 18, 2025, issued by the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. Shri Anurag Rohatgi holds a Master's degree in Chemistry and was born in September 1970. His professional experience includes roles in International Cooperation, Fertilizer Innovation, P&K Fertilizers, and Non-Chemical Fertilizers. He currently serves as the Joint Secretary in the Department of Fertilizers. He is also a Director on the Board of Hindustan Fertilizer Corporation Limited and has previously served as an Additional Director in Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited (HURL). His term of appointment is for three years, effective from December 19, 2025, or until his superannuation, or on a co-terminus basis with his posting in the Department of Fertilizers, or until further orders, whichever is earliest.
