National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has announced that the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, has assigned the additional charge of Director (Finance) to Shri Mahesh Chander Gupta. He is currently serving as Director (Marketing) at NFL. This additional charge is effective immediately and will be for a period of three months, or until a regular incumbent joins the post, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest. The appointment is subject to the approval of the Department of Personnel and Training (ACC). Shri Mahesh Chander Gupta is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience, including heading Natural Gas Sourcing and Marketing at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). He has a background in upscaling natural gas business, establishing petrochemical streams, and has held leadership positions across various verticals. In his new role at NFL, he is expected to focus on expanding the company's business portfolio, achieving market leadership, and working towards energy transition, sustainability, globalization, and strategic diversification.
