National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has announced its highest-ever quarterly net profit for the third quarter ended December 2025 (Q3 FY26), reaching ₹1,601 crore. This surpasses the ₹1,583 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. The total income for Q3 FY26 was ₹4,925 crore, an increase from ₹4,761 crore in Q3 FY25. For the nine months ended December 2025, NALCO reported a net profit of ₹4,098 crore and a revenue from operations of ₹12,830 crore. This represents a significant 26% increase in net profit and an 11% growth in revenue compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year. The company achieved its highest-ever revenue from operations and Profit After Tax for both the Q3 and nine-month periods of FY26. During the cumulative nine months of FY 2025–26, NALCO also achieved record production figures, including 56.60 lakh tonnes of bauxite, 17.27 lakh tonnes of alumina hydrate, and 3.54 lakh tonnes of aluminium cast metal. The company also recorded its highest-ever net power generation and highest-ever sales of alumina and aluminium metal, including domestic sales. Shri Brijendra Pratap Singh, CMD, NALCO, attributed the strong performance to employee dedication, cost optimization, margin management, and quality enhancement. He highlighted better metal realization, higher volumes, and increased utilization of captive coal as key contributors. Future priorities include timely completion of expansion projects, innovation, Industry 4.0 solutions, R&D, and carbon reduction initiatives. Additionally, NALCO has announced a second interim dividend of ₹4.50 per share for the financial year 2025-26.
