Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (NFCL) has announced a material change in its board of directors. Amlika Mercantile Private Limited (AMPL), previously a promoter, has withdrawn the nomination of Mr. K Rahul Raju and Mr. Uday Shankar Jha as directors on the NFCL board. This withdrawal is effective from December 26, 2025, the same date as AMPL's communication. Consequently, Mr. K Rahul Raju and Mr. Uday Shankar Jha have ceased to be members of the Board of Directors. In line with this, Mr. K Rahul Raju ceases to be the Managing Director and Mr. Uday Shankar Jha ceases to be the Chairman of the Company. Previously, AMPL had disclosed its intention to exit its investments in NFCL and subsequently exited its entire investment of 29,60,72,140 equity shares, amounting to 49.51%, during FY 2024-25 through open market transactions and block deals. This exit led to AMPL ceasing to be a shareholder and promoter of NFCL.
