MOIL Limited has announced the appointment of Shri Vishwanath Suresh as the new Chairman-cum-Managing Director. Shri Suresh assumed charge of his new role effective January 7, 2026, and will serve until his superannuation on August 31, 2030, or until further orders. He is not related to any existing Director or Key Managerial Personnel of the company and is compliant with all regulatory requirements for holding such a position. Shri Vishwanath Suresh is a Metallurgical Engineer from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, and holds an MBA in Marketing. He also completed an Advanced Strategic Management course from IIM Kozhikode. His prior experience includes serving as Director (Commercial) at NMDC Limited and Executive Director (Coal Import) at SAIL. With over three decades of experience in the mining and manufacturing sectors, his expertise spans sales, marketing, procurement, strategic management, and policy. He has previously served as a Director on the boards of several group companies, including NMDC Steel Limited and Krishnapatnam Railway Company Limited.
