Marico Limited has entered into definitive agreements to acquire a 60% stake in Cosmix Wellness Private Limited, the owner of the digital-first functional wellness brand 'Cosmix'. The acquisition, valued at approximately ₹375 crore for the entire company, involves a cash consideration of ₹225.67 crore for Marico's 60% stake. This strategic investment aligns with Marico's goal to expand its presence in premium food and nutrition categories. Cosmix Wellness, incorporated in January 2022, offers a range of plant-based products and has demonstrated significant growth, with a turnover of ₹50.93 crore in FY24-25 and an ARR of approximately ₹100 crore in the last six months (August 2025 - January 2026). The acquisition is expected to be completed within 30 days, subject to customary closing conditions. Marico also holds the right to acquire the remaining stake in Cosmix Wellness after FY29, contingent upon certain milestones and agreements. The founders of Cosmix, Vibha Harish and Soorya Jagadish, will continue to lead the business.
