C.E. Info Systems Limited (MapmyIndia) has enhanced its flagship Mappls App by integrating multimodal public transport route information, including metro, rail, and bus services. This expansion positions Mappls as a comprehensive mobility platform, combining private and public transit on a single, indigenous app.

The Mappls App, with over 40 million users, now allows commuters to view public transport routes, stations, stops, and interchange options to plan more efficient journeys. The feature is initially available for iOS and web in select cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Indore, Patna, Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Jaipur, Kochi, and Bhopal, with an Android rollout planned soon.

Rakesh Verma, Co-Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of MapmyIndia, stated that the launch is a response to user feedback, aiming to make the Mappls App more inclusive and accessible. He emphasized the commitment to supporting sustainable urban mobility by integrating public transport into daily navigation.
