Mangalam Worldwide Limited (MWL) has received a favorable order from the Hon'ble National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Ahmedabad Bench. The NCLT, vide its order dated January 12, 2026, has set aside the demand order issued by the Assistant Commissioner of Central Goods & Services Tax (CGST), Ahmedabad.

The original order, dated June 24, 2024, had demanded a total of ₹22,67,300/- CGST, along with applicable interest and penalty. MWL had contested this demand by filing an Interlocutory Application before the NCLT, arguing that the CGST order was contrary to the provisions of law.

This successful resolution in favor of the company marks a significant positive development, quashing the aforementioned tax demand.
