Mamata Machinery Limited has announced the launch of its new recyclable packaging technology, 'RecTech™', at Plastindia 2026 in New Delhi. This technology is designed to produce fully recyclable mono-material films that offer superior barrier protection and mechanical performance compared to traditional non-recyclable composite films like PET+PE and PET+MPET+PE. RecTech™ addresses the challenges of plastic waste management and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) mandates. It aims to bridge the cost gap between conventional composite materials and previously expensive recyclable films, thereby accelerating the adoption of sustainable packaging by leading brands. The company has also developed a compatible packaging ecosystem, including co-extrusion blown film plants, pouch makers, and HFFS & VFFS packaging machines, all designed and manufactured in-house. The company, with over 35 years of experience and more than 5,000 machine installations in 80 countries, is a leading global provider of flexible packaging machinery solutions.
