Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) has announced that its Buildings & Factories (B&F) business vertical has secured multiple new orders in India. These orders are classified as 'Large' based on L&T's project classification, indicating a value between ₹2,500 Crore and ₹5,000 Crore. One significant order comes from the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation for the construction of Advait Lok (Acharya Shankar Museum Complex & Parking) at Omkareshwar in Khandwa district. This Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project involves developing a state-of-the-art global museum featuring intricate stone carvings and glass fiber reinforced concrete architectural elements, showcasing the life and philosophy of Acharya Shankar. The scope includes civil structure, architectural finishes, MEP services, external development with parking, and a five-year operations and maintenance period. The project is slated for delivery within 36 months. Additionally, the B&F business received an EPC order from the Assam Government for the Redevelopment of R G Baruah Sports Complex in Guwahati. This project entails the construction of a FIFA-compliant football stadium with a seating capacity of 25,000, along with various other sports and allied facilities. The completion timeline for this project is 27 months. L&T's B&F business has also secured an order from a prominent developer for constructing luxury high-rise residential towers in Mumbai. These towers will range from 45 to 66 floors, featuring two basements, ground floor, reinforced concrete shell and core structures, premium finishes, and comprehensive MEP services. The towers are expected to reach a height of up to 230 meters.
