Larsen & Toubro Limited's (L&T) Transportation Infrastructure business vertical has announced the win of a significant order for Phase-2 of the Hyderabad Greenfield Radial Road project. This project involves the construction of a 22.3 km, 3+3 lane access-controlled radial road in the Ranga Reddy district. L&T's scope of work includes the construction of a 3.6 km viaduct, minor bridges, underpasses, and culverts. Additionally, the company will be responsible for building service roads on both sides, extensive retention structures, a storm water drainage system, footpaths, a cycle track, and landscaping. This radial road is a crucial first step among several planned roads to connect Hyderabad's outer ring road to the upcoming regional ring road. It is expected to enhance regional connectivity and foster growth by providing improved access to IT hubs, Electronic City, Young India Skills University, and Bharat Future City.
