Lodha Developers Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to invest an additional ₹1 lakh crore in developing a data centre park in the state. This new commitment follows a previous MoU of ₹30,000 crores signed in September last year.

The latest agreement was signed on January 19, 2026, by Abhishek Lodha, MD and CEO of Lodha, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum at Davos. The total investment for the data centre park will now amount to ₹1.3 lakh crores, aiming to create approximately 2.5 gigawatts of capacity, making it the largest in India.

This significant investment is expected to generate over 16,000 direct and indirect jobs. Several major international and domestic players are expected to set up their data centres within the park. Amazon has already acquired land and secured power arrangements for 15 years, while Singapore-based STT Global Data Centres has also acquired a land parcel.

Abhishek Lodha expressed confidence in Maharashtra's growth under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis, stating that the state's vision for development encourages such large investments. Lodha will act as the developer for various players setting up data centres within the park.
