LIC Housing Finance Limited has announced the results of its postal ballot, confirming the appointment of Shri Doraiswamy Ramachandran as Non-Executive (LIC Nominee) Director and Chairman of the Company. The approval was sought from the members via a postal ballot notice dated December 9, 2025.

The e-voting period commenced on December 10, 2025, at 9:00 AM IST and concluded on January 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM IST. The results of the postal ballot were submitted by the scrutinizer, Mr. Bhargav Pattani of M/s. BPP & Co., Company Secretaries, to the Chairman and Company Secretary on January 9, 2026.

The voting results indicate that the ordinary resolution for the appointment of Shri Doraiswamy Ramachandran was passed with the requisite majority. Out of the total votes polled, 39,14,41,056 votes were in favour, representing 85.26%, and 6,76,79,578 votes were against, representing 14.74%. No invalid votes were recorded.

The record date for determining the shareholders eligible to vote was December 5, 2025. The company also published advertisements in various newspapers, including Free Press Journal, Navshakti, The Economic Times, Business Standard, and Maharashtra Times, on December 10, 2025, to inform shareholders about the postal ballot process.
