Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) announced that its branch office in the Commonwealth of Dominica received an order from the Inland Revenue Division on January 22, 2026, imposing a penalty. The penalty, amounting to XCD 79,367 (approximately ₹26.91 lakhs), was levied due to the delayed reporting and payment of Value Added Tax (VAT) for April 2025 and May 2025, which was eventually paid in June 2025. The company has filed an objection against this penalty with the relevant authority. KPIL has stated that this penalty does not have any significant impact on the Company's financial, operational, or other activities.
