KPI Green Energy Limited has announced the receipt of three Notifications of Award (NOA) from NTPC Limited for its first Green Hydrogen generation project. This project, based on plasma gasification technology for converting municipal solid waste and agricultural waste into green hydrogen, will be set up at NETRA, NTPC Greater Noida. The contract, with an aggregate value of ₹128.49 Crore (excluding GST), encompasses the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply of plant and equipment, transportation, erection, installation, testing, commissioning, civil works, structural steel works, and a two-year operation and maintenance period. This marks KPI Green Energy's strategic entry into the green hydrogen segment, complementing its existing solar, wind, and hybrid power portfolio. The project represents an early deployment of plasma gasification-based green hydrogen generation in India and aligns with the company's strategy to expand into emerging clean energy technologies. The NOAs are subject to the execution of formal contract agreements and fulfillment of customary contractual obligations.
