K.P. Energy Limited (KPEL) has announced the successful commissioning of the first part capacity of its 50.4 MW Wind Power Project. The project comprises 16 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15MW, supplied by Suzlon. These turbines are located at the Vanki site in Nakhatrana, Kutch, Gujarat. The Commercial Operation Date (COD) for these WTGs was achieved, and they have been declared commissioned effective from July 8, 2026, at 00:00 hours. This significant project has been developed by KPEL for its esteemed customer, M/s. NTPC Renewable Energy Limited. This achievement underscores KPEL's standing as a prominent wind energy EPC and O&M solutions provider in India. It highlights the company's dedication to advancing India's renewable energy sector and showcases its robust execution capabilities, contributing to the nation's sustainable energy future.
