Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited has announced the allotment of 8,30,630 equity shares of Re. 1 each. This allotment is a result of the exercise of Employee Stock Options under the Kotak Mahindra Equity Option Scheme 2015 and Kotak Mahindra Equity Option Scheme 2023.

The Large Expenditure and Share Transfer and Other Matters Committee of the Bank approved this allotment on January 19, 2026. The shares were allotted under various series and tranches of the ESOP schemes, including ESOP Scheme Series 2015/30 (4th Tranche) with 3,32,635 shares, ESOP Scheme Series 2015/40 (2nd Tranche) with 3,88,275 shares, and ESOP Scheme Series 2023/01 (2nd Tranche) with 31,670 shares, among others.

This action is part of the bank's employee stock option plans designed to incentivize and retain talent within the organization.
