Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited convened its Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Monday, January 12th, 2026, through Video Conferencing (VC) and other audio visual means (OVAM). The meeting commenced at 11:30 A.M. and concluded at 11:48 A.M. with 44 members attending.

The primary business transacted was the appointment of Mr. Suman Jyoti Khaitan as an Independent Director through a Special Resolution. The Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Shailesh Khaitan, along with Joint Managing Director Mr. Utsav Khaitan, addressed the shareholders. The Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, Ms. Sejal Maheshwari, confirmed the quorum and declared the meeting in order. Members were informed about the e-voting facility for all resolutions, and a scrutinizer, Mr. Ritesh Gupta, was appointed to oversee the voting process.

The results of the e-voting, along with the Scrutinizer's Report, will be intimated within two working days from the conclusion of the EGM and will be available on the company's website and stock exchange websites.
