Mr. Khaitan's appointment was recommended by the Board of Directors and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. He is not debarred from holding the office of Director by any SEBI order. The appointment is for a term of five years, effective from October 29, 2025, with the members approving his appointment from January 12, 2026.

Mr. Khaitan brings extensive experience in various fields including arbitration, aviation, banking, finance, corporate law, and taxation. He has advised on business restructuring, amalgamations, demergers, takeovers, and finance raising.

The company also confirmed its current Board of Directors, which includes Mr. Shailesh Khaitan as Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. Utsav Khaitan as Joint Managing Director, Mr. Praveen Uniyal as Whole Time Director, Ms. Payal Gupta as Independent Women Director, Mr. Deepak Kumar Khemka as Independent Director, and the newly appointed Mr. Suman Jyoti Khaitan as Independent Director.
