Kernex Microsystems (India) Limited announced on January 15, 2026, that it has been awarded a significant order valued at ₹2,465.71 Crores by Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW). The contract involves the Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of 3,024 sets of On-board KAVACH Loco Equipment, adhering to RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/196/2020, Version 4.0 or the latest version. This order is expected to be executed within 12 months from the date of the purchase order.

The company stated that this strategic order will enhance its revenue visibility and reinforce its market position within the railway safety sector. The order was awarded by a domestic entity, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, located in Chittaranjan, Barddhaman. There is no interest from promoters, promoter group, or group companies in CLW, and the order does not fall under related party transactions.
