Additionally, KEC has secured an order in the Buildings & Factories (B&F) segment from an existing client for a downstream project in Western India for a leading steel player. In the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business, orders have been secured for the supply of towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas, with its subsidiary SAE Towers receiving significant orders in Mexico.
The Cables & Conductors business has also secured orders for the supply of various types of cables and conductors in India and overseas markets. Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, expressed satisfaction with the new order wins, particularly highlighting the maiden order in the wind energy segment and the strengthening presence in the B&F segment. He also noted the uptick in the North American T&D market. With these new orders, the company's year-to-date order intake stands at approximately ₹19,300 crores.
