KEC International Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Somraj Roy as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

This appointment is effective January 15, 2026. Mr. Roy brings over 30 years of extensive experience in Human Resources, with a strong background in HR business partnering and HR transformation across the Manufacturing, EPC, and Defence sectors.

Mr. Roy holds a Postgraduate degree in Personnel Management, an Executive Programme in Human Resources & Organizational Development from IIM Calcutta, and a Global Leadership Program from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. He also possesses a Diploma in Labour Laws & Legislation and is certified in Appreciative Inquiry and Organization Development by the NTL Institute, USA. Prior to rejoining KEC International, Mr. Roy served as the CHRO at CEAT Limited. His career also includes significant tenures at Reliance Industries Limited and Larsen & Toubro Limited, where he gained expertise in business growth, organizational development, talent management, and culture building.
