KEC International Limited has received a significant update regarding its legal dispute with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL). Following a writ petition filed by the company against PGCIL's order dated November 18, 2025, which excluded KEC from participating in tenders for nine months, the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi has intervened. Vide its order dated December 17, 2025, received by KEC on December 19, 2025, the High Court has placed the PGCIL order in abeyance. This decision is pending a fresh or supplementary order from PGCIL that will address all contentions raised by KEC in its reply to the show cause notice. Furthermore, the Hon'ble High Court has permitted KEC International to continue participating in ongoing bids, including those of PGCIL, until PGCIL completes its further action.
