* Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd (KSSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge Limited, has been awarded contracts by the Indian MoD valued at more than ₹250 crore for the supply of underwater systems. * The contract was signed on 10 November 2025 and stipulates delivery within a year (by November 2026). * KSSL has built capabilities for design, development, and production in unmanned marine systems over the past 5 years and has already supplied autonomous underwater vehicles to the Indian Navy. * Underwater Domain is a key focus area for KSSL, along with naval guns and marine equipment.
