JSW Infrastructure Limited has announced that the Ministry of Railways has granted its no-objection for the change in shareholding of JSW Rail Infra Logistics Private Limited, JSW Minerals Rail Logistics Private Limited, and JSW (South) Rail Logistics Private Limited in favor of JSW Port Logistics Private Limited. This development is a significant step towards the completion of the acquisition, which was previously intimated on 8th December 2025, following the execution of a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA).

The acquisition by JSW Port Logistics Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, of 100% of the equity share capital of these three entities from JSW Shipping & Logistics Private Limited was subject to certain conditions precedent, including the receipt of necessary approvals. The Ministry of Railways' 'no objection' was received on 14th January 2026 via email.

This approval from the Ministry of Railways is crucial. The acquisition will now proceed to completion upon the fulfillment of remaining conditions precedent outlined in the SPA and obtaining requisite approvals from the company's members.
