JSW Infrastructure Limited has provided an update regarding a material litigation involving its subsidiary, Ennore Coal Terminal Private Limited (ECTPL). Previously, on 25th October 2023, the company had informed about an appeal filed by Tamil Nadu Powers Producers Association (TNPPA) against ECTPL. This appeal challenged an order from the Competition Commission of India (CCI) which had dismissed TNPPA's information against ECTPL, finding that ECTPL was not in a dominant position in the relevant market. On 29th January 2026, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) issued an order, received by the company on 3rd February 2026, remanding the matter back to the CCI for a fresh decision. ECTPL maintains confidence in its legal and factual standing. The company stated that this order is not expected to have any material impact on its financial, operational, or other activities.
