JK Cement Limited announced on January 16, 2026, the commissioning of its expansion projects for cement grinding capacity. This includes an additional 1.00 MnTPA at JK Cement Works, Panna, increasing its capacity from 2.00 MnTPA to 3.00 MnTPA, and another 1.00 MnTPA at JK Cement Works, Hamirpur, also increasing its capacity from 2.00 MnTPA to 3.00 MnTPA.

These commissioning activities are part of the company's broader 6 MnTPA expansion plan, which was approved by the Board of Directors on January 20, 2024. The overall plan includes brownfield expansion of 3.3 MnTPA in clinker capacity and 3 MnTPA in cement grinding capacity across Panna, Hamirpur, and Prayagraj (1 MnTPA each). Additionally, it involves establishing a greenfield cement grinding capacity of 3 MnTPA in Bihar.

Following these expansions, JK Cement's total grey cement production capacity has reached 28.26 MnTPA, inclusive of its subsidiary's capacity.
