Jio Financial Services Limited announced the appointment of Shri Venkata Peri as Group Chief Operating Officer. The Board of Directors, upon the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, approved this appointment. Shri Venkata Peri will assume his role as part of the Senior Management Personnel effective December 22, 2025. Shri Venkata Peri brings over 25 years of experience in finance, coupled with a strong technology background and US work experience from companies like IBM, Deloitte, and PwC. He has expertise in launching CFO and CRO advisory service offerings and has worked extensively with global Boards, CEOs, CFOs, and CROs. His experience includes providing C-suite/Board level advisory on technology and analytics to help CEOs derive actionable insights and drive enterprise-level finance and risk transformation mandates for banking and insurance companies worldwide, aiming to enhance operational efficiency through advanced analytics. Shri Peri holds a Master's degree from the London School of Economics and an MCA degree from NIT Rourkela. He has also conducted pro-bono case-based teaching sessions at business schools in India and the US, including ISB and UCLA. The resolution approving Shri Venkata Peri's appointment was passed by the Board of Directors on December 17, 2025, at approximately 6:03 p.m.
