Jindal Stainless Limited has announced the results of its postal ballot, confirming the re-appointment of Dr. Rajeev Uberoi as an independent director for a second term of three consecutive years. The resolution, which required a special majority, was approved by shareholders.

The voting took place via e-voting and physical ballots. The result of the postal ballot was declared on January 9, 2026. The remote e-voting facility was available from December 10, 2025, to January 8, 2026. A total of 70,42,46,815 valid votes were cast, with 66,09,79,434 votes in favour and 4,32,67,381 votes against the resolution. No physical ballot forms were received during the voting period.

The company sought shareholder approval as per Section 110 of the Companies Act, 2013, read with Rule 22 of the Companies (Management & Administration) Rules, 2014, and Regulation 44(3) of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
