Jash Engineering Limited (JASH) has issued a clarification regarding its business exposure to projects under the Government of India's Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). The JJM aims to provide functional tap connections to every rural household through piped water, involving water treatment plants, piping, and automated flow control valves. JASH clarified that it is neither a piping manufacturer nor a commercial valves manufacturer. Its involvement in JJM projects is limited to products required for water treatment plants. However, the company noted that most JJM water treatment plants were small-sized and executed by smaller contractors who often preferred cheaper suppliers. Consequently, Jash has had no major role in JJM projects. As of the current date, Jash Engineering Limited has no outstanding receivables related to any orders for Jal Jeevan Mission projects.
