Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has released its audited Consolidated Interim Financial Statements for the nine months ended December 31, 2025. The statements, prepared in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), provide a true and fair view of the consolidated state of affairs of the Group.

Key highlights from the audit report include two emphasis of matter points. Firstly, certain loans aggregating to ₹400.24 crore, which should have been classified as Stage III / Non-Performing Assets (NPA), were classified as Stage II / Standard based on an interim court order. Interest income on these accounts is being recognized on a collection basis.

Secondly, the reported CRAR (Capital to Risk-weighted Assets Ratio) as of December 31, 2024, was 19.63%. This was based on a 50% risk weight for commissioned renewable energy project assets operational for over a year. However, effective March 31, 2025, a 100% risk weight has been applied to these assets, restating the CRAR as of December 31, 2024, to 15.52% in accordance with RBI directions.

The financial statements were audited by Shiv & Associates and Rao & Emmar. The company's subsidiary, IREDA Global Green Energy Finance IFSC Ltd., incorporated on May 7, 2024, is also included in the consolidated figures. The company continues to operate as a systemically important non-deposit taking non-banking financing company (NBFC-NDSI) / NBFC Middle Layer (ML) and is regulated by the Reserve Bank of India.
