IndusInd Bank Limited has issued a clarification regarding a news report published on December 18, 2025, about the bank being under the scanner of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO). The bank stated that as per RBI Master Directions on Fraud Risk Management, any fraud involving ₹1 crore and above must be reported to the SFIO. Accordingly, matters concerning the accounting of internal derivative trades, certain unsubstantiated balances in 'other assets' and 'other liabilities' accounts, and micro finance interest income/fee income were reported to SFIO on June 2, 2025. SFIO officials had telephonic conversations with bank officials on December 17 and 18, 2025, and have indicated that written communication seeking further details is awaited. The bank affirmed its commitment to complying with disclosure obligations under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations and is hosting this information on its website.
