Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced its entry into the commercial mobility segment with the launch of its dedicated taxi offerings: Prime HB (hatchback) and Prime SD (sedan). These models are purpose-built for fleet operators and taxi entrepreneurs, combining Hyundai's reliability with strong earning potential.

Both Prime HB and Prime SD are equipped with a 1.2L Kappa 4-cylinder engine (Petrol + CNG) to ensure lower operating costs. The models are competitively priced, with the Prime HB starting at ₹5,99,900 and the Prime SD at ₹6,89,900 (ex-showroom). Customers can book either model with a booking amount of ₹5,000 at any Hyundai dealership across India.

Mr. Tarun Garg, Managing Director & CEO designate, Hyundai Motor India Limited, stated that the Prime range is engineered for trust, reliability, and good earning potential, focusing on maximum uptime, predictable maintenance, and low operating costs. The vehicles come with an extensive service network, attractive warranty, maintenance packages, and flexible finance solutions.

Reinforcing the commitment to hassle-free ownership, HMIL offers special extended warranty packages for 4th and 5th year/180,000 KMs (whichever earlier) for high-running vehicles, aiming for a low total cost of ownership. Flexible finance solutions with repayment tenures of up to 72 months are also available. The vehicles boast impressive fuel efficiency: 28.40 km/kg for Prime SD and 27.32 km/kg for Prime HB (ARAI certified).

Key features across both models include six airbags, rear AC vents, steering-mounted controls, speakers, front row fast USB charger (Type-C), front & rear power windows, rear defogger, central locking, rear parking sensors, 3-point seatbelts, emergency stop signal, company-fitted Speed Limiting Function (80 km/h), and driver seat height adjustment. Optional accessories include a 22.96 cm (9”) touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a vehicle location tracking device with panic buttons. The Prime HB also includes rear adjustable headrests and keyless entry. The vehicles are available in three color options: Atlas White, Typhoon Silver, and Abyss Black.
