* HT Music and Entertainment Company Limited (HTME), a wholly-owned subsidiary of HT Media, has decided to surrender its FM Radio Station license for ‘Fever’ in Chennai. * The application for surrender was submitted to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) on 25th November, 2025. * Operations of the radio station will be closed effective 24th December, 2025. * Another subsidiary, Next Radio Limited, had previously surrendered its license to operate a radio station in Chennai effective 24th October, 2025. * The turnover of FM Radio Station - Chennai 94.3 FM in FY 2024-25 was ₹217 lakh, which was 0.12% of the total operating turnover. * The turnover of FM Radio Station - Chennai 91.9 FM in FY 2024-25 was ₹458 lakh, which was 0.25% of the total operating turnover. * The radio stations were considered financially and strategically unviable.
