Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) has announced the appointment of Mr. Sandeep Vasant Kadam as a part-time Official Director on its Board. This appointment was made by the Ministry of Mines, effective immediately and until further orders. Mr. Kadam, who holds the position of Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Mines, replaces Shri Dinesh Mahur, the former Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Mines.

The appointment is in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations. The company is undertaking the necessary steps to complete the formalities related to this change and will submit further disclosures in due course. The effective date of appointment for Mr. Kadam is January 19, 2026, and his term will continue until further notice. Concurrently, Shri Dinesh Mahur's tenure as the Government Nominee Director has ceased on the same date.
