Hindustan Composites Limited has provided a clarification to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited regarding a discrepancy observed in their financial results submitted on November 12, 2025, for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. The NSE had pointed out that the financial results submitted were not in the format prescribed by SEBI, specifically noting that the same figures appeared in both standalone and consolidated Profit & Loss statements. Hindustan Composites explained that the company's share of losses in its Joint Venture, Compo Advics (India) Private Limited, had exceeded its investment value. Consequently, in compliance with IND AS 28, the company has ceased to recognize its share of further losses in the consolidated results from the financial year 2021-22. For the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025, the company added item number 6, 'Share of (loss) of Joint Venture #', with a 'Nil' value in the unaudited consolidated financial results, and a corresponding note in the footnotes. The company also clarified that the figures for Segment Assets and Segment Liabilities are not the same for standalone and consolidated financial results. They believe that based on these explanations, the submitted standalone and consolidated financial results conform to the SEBI-prescribed format.
