Highway Infrastructure Limited has entered into a Contract Agreement on January 8, 2026, for the operation of the Kaza Fee Plaza. This follows their earlier intimation on December 9, 2025, regarding the receipt of a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for this project.

The contract pertains to the operation at Kaza Fee Plaza on the Chilakaluripet-Vijayawada section of NH-16, covering Km.355.000 to Km.437.500, a length of 82.5 km, in Andhra Pradesh. The company is set to take over the Fee Plaza on January 23, 2026.

The contract, awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), is for a period of one year. The significant consideration for this contract is ₹328,77,77,777 (Rupees Three Hundred Twenty Eight Crore Seventy Seven Lakh Seventy Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy Seven Only). The scope includes the operation and collection of user fees, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of adjacent toilet blocks. The company confirmed that neither the promoter nor promoter group companies have any interest in NHAI, and the contract does not fall under related party transactions.
