Hexaware Technologies announced the launch of two new insurance solutions developed exclusively for Google Cloud, strengthening their collaboration to accelerate digital transformation through automation, AI, and scalable cloud-native architectures for the insurance industry. * The first solution is a parametric claims solution that automates the full lifecycle of parametric insurance claims. It integrates real-time data from sources like IMD, NOAA, global satellite networks, and Google Earth Engine. Utilizing the Agent-to-Agent Protocol, self-governing AI agents autonomously handle trigger detection, data validation, and claims settlement, reducing settlement timelines from weeks to hours. Operational data is unified within Google BigQuery for transparency and auditability. * The second solution is an intelligent platform that reimagines the insurance product delivery life cycle. It provides brokers, (re)insurers, and MGAs with an AI-assisted, no/low-code environment for faster, more flexible product innovation with API-based integration. Powered by Vertex AI and Gemini Enterprise, it enables autonomous creation and configuration of new insurance products from natural-language prompts and unstructured documentation. Autonomous agents manage configuration, testing, and deployment cycles, leveraging NotebookLM for analysis and Looker on BigQuery for real-time insights. Shantanu Baruah, President & Global Head – Healthcare, Life Sciences & Insurance, Hexaware, stated that these solutions help modernize critical parts of the insurance value chain—claims and product development—through automation and intelligence. Christina Lucas, Global Director & Market Leader, Insurance, Google, expressed pleasure in collaborating with Hexaware to apply Google Cloud’s data and AI capabilities for the insurance industry, launching the “Intelligent Product Factory (IPF)” and “ParaClaims” solutions. Apurva Kadakia, Global Head of Cloud, Hexaware, added that the partnership deepens as Hexaware engineers insurance solutions natively on Google Cloud’s platform.
