HEG Limited has provided an update on its Composite Scheme of Arrangement and Greentech Business Overview. The company plans to demerge its Graphite Business into HEG Graphite Limited through a NCLT-approved scheme, with a proposed 1:1 share issuance ratio. Subsequently, BEL will merge with HEG, and HEG Graphite Limited will be renamed HEG Limited, while the current HEG Limited will be renamed HEG Greentech Limited. The scheme is expected to be completed by June-July 2026. The company is also focusing on its Greentech platform, which includes Battery Energy Solutions, Storage-based RE IPP, Advanced Battery Materials, and Hydro Power. HEG aims to scale up anode material production to 60 KTPA by FY32 and expand its Battery Energy Solutions to 6 GWh by FY27. The company has two operational hydropower projects, Malana (86 MW) and AD Hydro Power Ltd. (192 MW), generating steady free cash flows of approximately ₹300+ crore annually. The total capital requirement for the Greentech platform is estimated at ~₹9,000 crore, with plans for expansion in Anode Materials, Battery Energy Solutions, and RE Power generation.
